ENow, Inc’s Principal Architect, JP Gundotra, was a featured speaker today at the “Winds of (Ex)Change 2007” event held at Microsoft’s UK Headquarters. The event provided companies with helpful strategies for reducing their risks during migration to Exchange 2007. Mr. Gundotra was in Reading at the invitation of Essential Computing, the event’s coordinator and one of the UK’s leading authorities on managing migration risks.
Mr. Gundotra’s presentation focused on the four phases of migration: Planning, Implementation, Migration, and Beyond. Citing real world examples of the challenges associated with each phase, Mr. Gundotra highlighted how Mailscape® could assist companies during these phases and ensure a successful transition to Exchange 2007.
“We brought sixty of the UK’s top email managers together to learn about new strategies for managing their migration to Exchange 2007,” says Sara Appleyard, Marketing Director at Essential Computing. “ENow specializes in delivering consulting services and developing software for proactive exchange system management, so Mr Gundotra’s insights were of great value to our attendees.”
“We were very happy that Essential Computing hosted this event, and I was honored to be invited to speak,” says Mr. Gundotra. “With Essential’s expertise and vast experience in the messaging space, they clearly understand the risks associated with Exchange 2007 Migration. Today’s event showcased some exciting new strategies to mitigate those risks.”
