On July 30, 2021, at ~6:41 pm UTC, Microsoft announced that they were investigating an issue in which users potentially could be unable to connect to Power Apps.

The service incident number was MO274372. This announcement from Microsoft came just one day after a Microsoft 365 service disruption for users in Germany.

Initial tweets and public feedback indicated that the disruption impacts were significant.  IT professionals on Twitter were confirming at this time that Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, and Lists were all having Connector issues.  The interruption to many organizations' automation went without saying, nonetheless many on Twitter were all too eager to announce their frustrations.

Approximately one hour after first disclosing the issue on Twitter, Microsoft announced that the investigation into the issue was still ongoing and that mitigation efforts and remedies were still not in place.

Some small signs of life started to trickle in from @MSFT365status followers at this point. However, it was not until almost two hours after first report that Microsoft made the announcement that the cause of the outage was identified and that a fix was in place. Service recovery for many soon followed.

Immediately after their previous announcement on Twitter (@MSFT365status), Microsoft was able to confirm that the matter was "fully mitigated" and all connections had been restored. Microsoft had no further communications as to MO274372, however a 2-hour Power Apps outage, perhaps brief as far as time, was not small has far as disruptions and impacts to organizations globally.
