Office 365 Monitoring: Microsoft SharePoint Online Service Outage September 24, 2020

On September 24th at roughly ~1:15 pm UTC, Microsoft reported an issue with some users not being able to receive email notifications through the SharePoint Online service.

Finally, at ~6:30pm UTC, Microsoft reported that a recent email configuration change had impacted email notifications through the SharePoint Online service. They reverted the change and have confirmed that service had been restored. More info can be found in the admin center under SP222774.
